There are numerous trailer hitches available for the 2005 Ford Five Hundred. I recommend going with a class III trailer hitch because it will have a 2 inch receiver that will afford you more options in terms of accessories. Based on the GVWR, the total tongue weight is often 10-15 percent of the total trailer weight.
